Update from SA

Well, not much new on this side of the world. We are still working on the house a bit. Mark and I put together our new cupboard for my clothes. The only problem is that one of the three doors had a pretty nasty scuff mark which is at almost exactly eye level for me, so we have called Builder's Warehouse and they will come switch that one out for a new one on Friday or Saturday. Also I went to the American Embassy here on Tuesday and applied for my new passport in my married name. Mark was at a client's office, so I got a map out, found out where I needed to go, and went! I was proud of myself. Our carport should be finished tomorrow. I'll have to get Mark's cameral out to take a few pictures since mine has not been working - I'll go get that fixed soon, too. Our bricks for the new paving outside should be delivered on Friday, and that exercise will begin next week. It should take about 8 working days - I told Aureen I may have to move in there for a few nights if it got on my nerves! Probably won't have to, but it's nice to have the option. After that is complete, Cinnamon will be able to move in finally. Well, not much other news - so I guess that is good news. I have actually cooked at least 5 nights a week since we've been back - and it's all been edible. Actually, I have to say that I've done quite well seeing as I haven't really had to cook on a regular basis for almost 2 years! Hope all is going well for those in the states.
